The AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center is the culmination of a process of reflection between the public and private sectors with the aim of improving competitiveness within the automotive sector. To achieve this, a new model emerged that would address the challenges of the 21st century.
In October 2006, regional government and private sector organizations formed a foundation whose task is to support and vitalize the Center. The founding partners are: Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Amorebieta-Etxano City Council, City of Ermua, ACICAE-Basque Country Automotive Cluster, ZF Lemförder TVA, Pierburg, CIE Automotive, Amaya Telleria and Microdeco.
