Implementation of Energy Management Systems according to ISO 50001:2018

ISO 50001 is an international standard that provides the framework to help companies establish the systems and processes necessary to continually improve energy performance within the organization. It applies to activities under the control of the organization, and to the design and procurement of facilities, equipment, systems or processes that consume energy.

The intent of this course is to understand the objectives and requirements of ISO 50001:2018 and to acquire the necessary skills to design, implement, manage and maintain an energy management system (EnMS) that complies with this standard. In addition, key knowledge will be provided to establish the scope, tools and resources needed to conduct an internal audit.
