Benchmark Xiaomi SU7 MAX

  • Benchmark Xiaomi SU7 MAX

From AIC–Automotive Intelligence Center, in collaboration with ACICAE–Automotive Cluster of the Basque Country, we would like to invite you to take part in a new Benchmarking Conference that will be held on May 14th, 2026, aimed at conducting an in-depth analysis of the manufacturing strategies of leading OEMs.

In this edition, the focus will be on the Xiaomi SU7 Max, one of the most disruptive launches in the current landscape, reflecting the entry of new technology players into the automotive industry with highly integrated proposals in software, electronics, and electrical/electronic architecture.

In this context, AIC’s technical team has been working on the teardown and analysis of the vehicle. During the conference, the following areas will be specifically addressed: Drivetrain, Powertrain (engine and control electronics), Battery Pack, Body in White and Gigacasting solutions, ADAS systems, and interior components. In addition, the results of a series of dynamic tests carried out on the Xiaomi SU7 Max, Mercedes CLA, and Mercedes EQS models will be presented.

Beyond the opportunity to physically view the main dismantled systems and components, the event will also include a presentation by AIC’s Competitive Intelligence Unit. This session will compare, at different analytical levels, the aforementioned focus areas across the Tesla Model Y, Tesla Cybertruck, Porsche Taycan, Mercedes EQS, Mercedes CLA, and BYD SEAL, among others. Xiaomi is characterized by particularly fast development cycles and, in this regard, the event will also cover the latest advancements in its strategy, including an analysis of the YU7 model.
