The event will give students and professionals the chance to find out first-hand about the employment opportunities available in the mobility sector.
ACICAE – the Basque Country Automotive Cluster, with the support of AIC – Automotive Intelligence Centre and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, will hold the 7th edition of the Mobility Job & Talent Day on 18 September. This initiative has established itself as one of the main meeting points for companies within the mobility ecosystem and individuals interested in developing their professional careers in this sector.
The event will bring together 35 leading companies from the mobility and automotive sectors, who will share with attendees their projects, career opportunities and recruitment needs in fields as diverse as engineering, quality, production, maintenance, logistics, automation, digitalisation and project management.
The aim of this initiative is to improve employability and facilitate access to the labour market by connecting companies, students and professionals with the career opportunities offered by a strategic and constantly evolving sector such as mobility.
Participating companies will have an exhibition space from which they can interact with attendees, answer questions and showcase their activities and career development opportunities. Furthermore, the organisations will have the opportunity to give short presentations to explain who they are, what their main projects are and what professional profiles they are looking to recruit.
This year’s event will feature over 100 active career opportunities, as well as activities aimed at improving attendees’ employability and bridging the gap between talent supply and demand.
Furthermore, AIC will use the event to present the latest developments in its Expert Master’s in Automotive Engineering, a leading programme designed to train the professionals required by an industry undergoing rapid transformation. The programme enables participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the automotive value chain and to develop technical and strategic knowledge in key areas for the sector’s future, such as electrification, autonomous driving, digitalisation and advanced manufacturing.
